Claims against hairdressers

One of the most common causes of chemical burns to the head is the careless application of chemicals such as dyes applied by hairdressers.

Hairdressers have a duty to exercise reasonable skill and care while providing their service. Chemicals and other hair products should only be applied by an experienced stylist.

Before chemicals are applied, they should try a small amount of the chemical on your skin a few days before your appointment, to ensure that you don't have an allergic reaction.
